Have you ever been to Normanton Church…? Whether you are visiting or attending a wedding, you will be blown away! It definitely has the WOW factor and we couldn’t wait for our first 2015 wedding at Normanton on Saturday.
Lorna and David had planned a ceremony at Normanton Church and their reception a short walk away at Normanton Park Hotel- two perfectly picked venues!
We arrived, bright and early ready to meet Lorna and the girls in the honeymoon suite at Normanton Park Hotel. Lorna was a little nervous, but excited to show us her dress and shoes hanging perfectly on the four poster bed.
Lily King arrived armed with amazing bouquets of flowers and happy smiley faces- we love working alongside local suppliers and Lily King is one of many Rutland wedding specialists.
We walked down to Normanton Church with David and the boys who were on hand ready to great their guests.
Not only was this our first visit to Normanton Church for 2015, it was the first since they had refurbished the Church and also landscape a beautiful garden- which was a treat for everyone!
After a ceremony by the lovely Ruth and Sam, part of Oakham Registrars, it was time to brave the cold for some wedding photographs outside Normanton Church. It was a little chilly, however well worth it!
After a drive in their classic wedding car, Lorna and David arrived at Normanton Park Hotel, greeted by a glass of champagne and ready to relax and chat to their guests…in the warm!
Normanton Park sits in the edge of Rutland water and at night the hotel is lit up- it looks amazing! We nipped Lorna and David out, along with our off camera flash, to create some stunning night-time wedding photographs at Normanton Park. The end of a very perfect winter wedding day!
Congratulations guys- we hope you had a super day!
