Queens Head Inn at Nassington
The village of Nassington is set in East Northamptonshire on the edge of The River Nene.
This historic little village is home to many myths and tales going right back to the Roman times. This village is home to the very beautiful Nassington Church which shows off its tall spire and Stamford made clock.
In the heart of the village stands The Queen’s Head Inn, a countryside pub, restaurant and hotel – perfect for wedding photography. Not only is this original countryside Inn set in the heart of a beautiful little village, on its door step is The River Nene. Imagine enjoy your reception drinks with the views of the river and canal boats passing through! This AA 4 star Inn provide a great setting for you and your guests. They are also licenced for civil ceremonies too!
Their dedicated wedding co-ordinators are always on hand to help in any way possible, should you wish to have a little more space and look upon the views of the River Nene all day, you can choose to have a Marquee erected on the lawn by the riverbank- that really does have the wow factor! Choosing a marquee enables you to have up to 120 guests. However if you’re looking for something a little smaller, The Garden room can seat up to 70-80 guests for your wedding breakfast. The beautiful brick walls outside and stunning chandeliers inside will make the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs.
The garden room is then transformed into your evening reception. The spacious bar with open fires is perfect for guest to enjoy a drink whilst the staff prepare for your evening. The Queen’s head also offers accommodation, with en-suite and family rooms, there is something for everyone.
We really enjoyed visiting The Queens’ Head, its characteristics have been kept true and it really is a beautiful place to for your wedding photographs.
