This Tudor, 16th century farm has been in the Paxman family for 35 years now!  When purchased by Phillip and his family, the farm was in need of much tlc. The family have since transformed the farm into an eco-friendly family run wedding dream machine!

South farm first opened its doors to weddings in 2004 with their ethos as ‘Distinctly Different’ and that it certainly is! It has a working farm with home grown produce such as eggs, honey, vegetables and much more. There is also a vintage steam engine situated at the front of the farm house, this was built in1913 by James Paxton- who is the current James Paxton’s great grandfather!

Full of history the original barns and old dairy are perfect for your wedding ceremony. Since 2008 South Farm introduced an outdoor garden space for civil ceremonies- which on a summers day is an absolute dream.

A photographers options for wedding photography at South farm is pretty much endless- it’s perfect! With beautiful landscaped gardens that go on for miles, Romany Gypsy Caravans, a man-made pond, lakes and hump back bridge we could spend all week there!

Wedding guests, family and friends are welcome to stay overnight at South farm with 24 rooms in the farm house, a luxury bridal suite and you can even stay in the Romany caravans too!

They have organised, run and managed over 800 superb weddings since 2005 and you can certainly see why- complete exclusivity and personal service is South Farm’s speciality!

And if that wasn’t enough…. they also have a unique and romantic honeymoon destination in Thailand if you’re looking to continue your luxury even further!
