Ideal for a country wedding, wedding photography at Halstead House is always quirky.
The elegant Georgian ironstone built house has been home to its present owner since 1964! With two rooms available for wedding receptions and civil ceremonies, Halstead house offers something for all looking for a country wedding venue.
The Opera house is a converted barn, accessible through a 19th century wind engine. This larger room can seat over 150 people with ample room for dancing later on! With its open beams above, this room is beautiful and large enough for wedding photography at Halstead house, should it rain.
The smaller room, named the Quail Shed can sit 70 people for a wedding breakfast. This room opens out onto the patio overlooking the two fishing lakes. Ideal for stunning wedding photo opportunities!
The lakes play home to Mr and Mrs Goose. Their babies are born here too so keep a watchful eye open for them. We are always able to find new photograph opportunities looking over and around these lakes.
The wild garden and pathway open out for a great photo opportunity also. With the main garden able to hold a drinks reception and still have room for group wedding photographs, it is perfect for keeping all of your friends and family together in the same place.
Complete with original cobbled drive, Halstead house offers so much, for us as wedding photographers and for your guests to explore.
You can even buy your Christmas Turkey from the farm too!
Onsite is a small cottage, able to sleep 6 people. Ideal for the bridal party before your wedding, or for the family that is traveling that little further. It has its own parking and garden too.
