The beginning of the adventure…
We have known Nick for a number of years now and it was such a pleasure to meet his fiancée Bev.
We were absolutely thrilled when they asked us to be their wedding photographer in Colchester. After a fab engagement shoot with them we really enjoyed hearing about all of their plans for their special day. We just couldn’t wait!
Wedding Photography Colchester Town Hall
The day before we travelled down to Colchester to meet Bev and Nick, they showed us around the amazing East Anglia Railway Museum. WOW- it was incredible! They had also chosen Colchester town hall to hold their marriage ceremony. This is a beautiful tradition town hall in the heart of Colchester high street. We cannot tell you how excited we were- so many opportunities and ideas, our head were full!
It was Saturday morning and we started our adventure at Bev’s family home in Colchester. The girls were all very excited and Bev was too! We met Nick at The George pub next door to the Town Hall. He was cool, calm and looking very smart- just like Bev he couldn’t wait!
Bev and her bridal party arrived at Colchester Town Hall in a fabulous London Bus- talk about arriving in style! She looked stunning!
After their beautiful ceremony with tears and laughter, we used the interior and exterior of Colchester town hall for some wedding photographs with the bride and groom. Shortly after Bev and Nick joined their guests on the bus and it was off to the Train Station we go!
Wedding Photography at The East Anglia Railway Museum
This place really does have the WOW factor and on such a beautiful day too! After some fun and relaxed group photographs it was time for guests to be seated in the good’s shed. The goods shed looked beautiful full of old signs and a whole train carriage! The bride and groom had arranged for afternoon tea and scones for their wedding breakfast which was a really quirky idea.
After some fab speeches we spent some time taking some beautiful photographs of the bride and groom in and around the railway museum. It really is so quirky with endless opportunities for photographs. We were spoilt for choice for your wedding photography at The East of Anglia Railway Museum.
After a few songs from the fantastic band we left them all to dance, drink and be merry!
What an amazing day!
