All weather wedding photography at Staunton Harold Hall
Trust us when we say all weathers too! From really hot sunshine right through to thunder and lightning, we saw all when we photographed Claire and Nathans wedding at Staunton Harold Hall!
We have visited Staunton before, a few years ago now, but we must say what a treat it was to return for more wedding photography at Staunton Harold Hall! Read on to hear of our adventure and the perfectly timed weather!
A visit to Claire’s house was in order for first thing that morning. Recently built and only moved into a few weeks prior, the house was huge, a perfect space for all of Claire’s bridesmaids to get ready! After nearly loosing each other in the many rooms (not on purpose I might add ) and after beautiful memories were safe in the camera, we headed to find the boys.
The umbrellas were first out of our vehicle even before us at the church. This by no means dampened the spirits (excuse the pun!) of anyone, especially the groom who was calmly having his hair gelled at the barbers across from the church. Even the brides wedding car not starting couldn’t spoil the day.
As the groom waited, and waited some more, Claire pulled up to the church in a neighbours Mercedes, who came to the rescue last minute! After a few, very brief wedding photographs, we headed into the Church for an awesome ceremony, complete with heartfelt readings. Whilst in the church, the heavens opened and by the time we all left, it had stopped Great timing!
Back to Staunton Harold Hall
A short journey to Staunton Harold Hall followed, where the couple and guests were met by the FANTASTIC view, drinks on arrival and wall to wall sunshine! Group wedding photography at Staunton Harold Hall was fun and relaxed, making the most of the surroundings and even an upstairs window to capture the atmosphere. We made sure the bride and groom had time with their guests too, we feel this is super important!
Just before the wedding breakfast we stole a moment or two from the happy couple for a few romantic moments together right before the thunder and lightning followed us into the first speech.
By the time the breakfast and speeches were over, the sun shone once again. Perfect timing goes to Mother Nature for making wedding photography at Staunton Harold Hall an outside event.
A few photos followed before the evening guests were soon arriving, eager and awaiting the first dance and cake cutting.
We can’t wait to show you these photographs of Claire and Nathan’s wedding photography at Staunton Harold Hall and would LOVE you to share them too!
