Carrie and James’ wedding was held last weekend at Ryhall church.
Carrie and James came to visit our studio in Oakham over a year ago now and we really enjoyed getting to know them. Carrie’s mum even invited us round for tea! The couple had chosen their beautiful local church in Ryhall for their wedding ceremony and we were so happy that they had asked us to photograph their special day.
On the day we took some photographs in the church yard and after a lovely ceremony they were soon off to Barnsdale Lodge for their reception. It is a beautiful venue and sits just by the shores of Rutland Water with some amazing countryside views.
It was a little chilly when we arrived at the reception so the wedding guests enjoyed drinks and canapés in Barnsdale Lodge’s Barn Suite. We then braved the cold weather for some casual, fun group shots. Carrie, James and the guests were treated to a viewing of The Grand National race halfway through their wedding breakfast and as a wonderful wedding favour Carrie and James had placed a bet on it for each guest. What a great idea!
Congratulations to Carrie and James and thank you all for a wonderful day!
Here’s some photographs from the day:
