We LOVE a good love story and these guys certainly have that! Nicki and Liam nearly weren’t together all those years ago when Liam had planned to leave… but when he met Nicki he couldn’t leave- Bless him. We’re so pleased he didn’t as they are the cutest couple!
We started our exciting day at the bride’s parent’s house with a very excited Bride and Bridesmaids. The groom had left the bride a goodie box full of all the things he loves about her and memories from their many years together. This was so cute and we couldn’t help to snap some photographs of the box.
Louise of Lily King arrived with THE most beautiful flowers. Oh soooo pretty. The bride had a brooch from her grandma, who sadly was no longer with us, Nicki gave this to Louise from Lily King to attach to the ribbon on her bouquet. This is such a cute idea and Louise did this delicately and to perfection!
It was then off to meet Liam and the boys at Normanton Park Hotel. Liam was really calm and so smiley- he just couldn’t wait to see Nicki!
We checked that the bride had arrived and then we made our way on foot to their ceremony venue, Normanton Church, with the boys and a following of guests behind us.
Wow- Nicki looked stunning as she walked down the aisle with her, very proud, Dad. Their ceremony had everyone in tears, complete with handwritten vowels. Now husband and wife, the bride and groom made their way outside and were met by a flurry of rose petals from guests which was a treat at Normanton Church!
Shortly after, they arrived at Normanton Park in their classic car and instantly greeted by the wonderful staff with a glass of fizz- perfection!
We took some awesome fun group photographs on the lawn at Normanton Park whilst guests enjoyed a drink (or two!)
A great meal was followed by three great speeches and there was still time to go out and explore! We LOVE finding new places to photograph weddings at Normanton Park, our favourite this time was the striking blossom tree which we used along with having some fun with Nicki’s veil!
It was soon time for their evening reception, complete with a chocolate fountain and sweetie table that went down a treat with EVERYONE (we, of course, had to try a little bit :-))
The bride, groom, parents and bridal party had organized a ‘flash dance’ themed first dance and after a minute of shuffling the bride and groom broke out into the most awesome dance routine joined by the bridal party! Our favourite was Nicki’s Dad- he has some wicked moves!
Such an awesome day- thank you guys and congratulations!
