Clear blue skies, a beautiful venue and the sweetest couple- what more could we want! We just couldn’t wait for Suzanne and Edwards Wedding today!
We met Suzanne in her room at The George Hotel in Stamford where she was getting ready with her daughter. Suzanne looked amazing already- and she was only in her dressing gown, her makeup looked amazing and hair by Caroline at Hair at Number 3- she was almost ready to go! After a few photographs, we left her to get ready and went to find the boys!
A few moments late, Edward arrived looking very dapper and escorted by his 2 daughters, they all looked gorgeous! Everyone was so excited and as guests started to arrive into the London Room we knew it was nearly time!
After a very sweet and intimate civil-ceremony it was time to head out into the glorious sunshine. The walled gardens at The George of Stamford are beautiful- and perfect for your wedding photographs. After a champagne drinks reception we captured some relaxed group photographs with the bride, groom and friends and family. It is always nice to capture a few group photographs but still leave time for you to enjoy drinks with your guests.
It was then time for them to all enjoy a beautiful 3-course meal in the restaurant of The George which was followed by 5 AWESOME speeches. We learnt about horoscopes, the owl and the pussycat and how Edwards DIY can be…entertaining!
The bride and groom had left a few hours in the afternoon for guests to enjoy a walk around the George, freshen up and/or get changed before the evening reception began. We spend a little of this time with the bride and groom and explored the endless options for wedding photographs at The George in Stamford.
The evening reception was soon in full swing with a live band and photo-booth- we knew they had a great night ahead of them. Suzanne and Ed started the evening with their first dance and shortly after, we left them to dance the night away and pose in the photo-booth!
