Steph and Tom had been planning their wedding for a very long time and we couldn’t believe that their day had arrived – we couldn’t wait!
They chose the 10th November as it was the 8 years anniversary of when they first met – how cute.
We began our adventure in Oakham meeting Steph and her Bridesmaid at the hair salon, Crème. The bride was really excited and ready to be pampered. After a short time, we left the girls to it and made our way to the bride’s parents house in Cottesmore.
Steph’s mum had made sure that the dresses, shoes and jewellery were all out and ready for photographs – bless her. We made our way upstairs, and the brides mum showed us the beautiful litter of kittens that their cat was looking after at the bottom of the airing cupboard. They seemed soooo cosy and super tiny – ooooh cute, we nearly took one home!
The next part of today’s adventure was meeting the boys at The Danish in Stamford. The groom arrived and looked so cool in his red tie and matching braces. He was quite nervous but his best man, Chris, was on hand to keep him calm. After a quick pint (for them not us!) we made our way into town.
Stamford is a beautiful town full of history, character and the most picturesque shopping streets. This lovely couple had chosen Stamford Registry office for their wedding ceremony which is nestled right in the centre of the town. Through the hustle and bustle of market day in Stamford, we photographed guests as they started to arrive and take their seats.
The bride arrived with her dad, and she looked stunning as she walked down the aisle to her groom. After a beautiful ceremony, we all made our way out into the garden for lots of congratulations and some group photographs. Friends and family slowly started to make their way off to get a drink and we whisked the bride and groom out into the town for some pictures of just the two of them.
We went down to the beautiful river bank, and ornate bridge in Stamford for some photographs and it was lovely for the bride and groom to spend a bit of time together.
They arrived back at The Danish Invader and tucked into their wedding breakfast followed by listening to a few speeches. Before their evening entertainment started, we nipped out to play with some sparklers with the bride and groom and a few guests. It was a little chilly but great fun.
After they cut their cake and took to the dancefloor for their first dance, we left them all dancing the night away.
Congratulations guys and thanks for an awesome day.
