Lauren and Ed have been together for a very long time, they met when Lauren was staying with her dad before returning back to her home in Canada.
Lauren got as far as the airport when she said to her dad that she couldn’t go back as she had met Ed and wanted to stay…. Aww how cute!
They have since had 2 beautiful boys and live in their beautiful little house in Stretton- what a story hey!
The girls were enjoying a spot of lunch as we arrived at Lauren’s house in Stretton. They were very calm and enjoying the amazing sunshine! After capturing some photographs of them all having their make-up done by Lauren’s mum and not to mention the beautiful dresses, our journey continued onto Exton to meet the boys.
Boys will be boys- not ready and chilling out at Ed’s parents beautiful cottage in Exton. Ed was in charge of looking after their two little boys and getting them dressed! The boys donned their suits and looked awesome! Off to the church we go!
We think that Exton Church has one of the most romantic entrances in the county. After driving through this picturesque village, you turn down a narrow lane, lined with wildflowers and then you see it… Exton Church nestled in the rural countryside- perfect! Who couldn’t fall in love with this church!
Guests arrived, along with the bridesmaids and then Lauren in her dads extremely smart Mercedes! Lauren looked, as we knew she would, absolutely stunning- lucky guy Ed!
After a fantastic service, it was out into the glorious sunshine with Mr and Mrs Mathers!
As guests made their way to Greetham to grab a drink we captured a few group photographs and then spent some time with the bride and groom capturing some beautiful spring wedding photographs at Exton Church.
As they arrived back to Greetham the bridesmaids had a surprise waiting for them…. a presentation/slideshow of photographs showing the bride and groom growing up. It was a really nice touch and we even saw a few tears… Lauren
Greetham Valley holds the most amazing views from the Rutland suite and on a day like today the guests couldn’t wait to sit on the terrace and enjoy them. We had some fun with the bridal party taking some photographs of them all together and then grabbed a buggy whilst Aaron chauffeured the bride and groom around the golf course. We LOVE weddings at Greetham Valley and the golf buggy is the best bit! We can always pick somewhere different to go for wedding photographs- it’s all so beautiful!
After great speeches, food and cake it was time for the dance floor to be filled! The Bride and Groom took to the dance floor as Mr and Mrs and the party was away!
Guys- thank you so much for inviting us to be a part of such a super day- we can’t wait to see you both soon!
