Normanton Park Wedding Photographers

July 10, 2014 |

We are proud to be Normanton Park Wedding Photographers and on this occasion, complete with its THREE best men, we felt no different!

Normanton Park, set on the south shore of Rutland water is a perfect location for your wedding day, no matter how many guests you are having! With options to get married on site or away at a nearby church like Laura and James did, Normanton can offer it all! Laura and James chose the beautiful church in Great Casterton near Stamford for their ceremony, a short drive from Normanton and its shores. After a lovely ceremony, complete with choir (and conductor!) the guests followed the bride and groom out into the sunshine, armed with confetti and rice for our first group photograph of the day. After many words of congratulations and a few smaller group photographs that had been requested by the bride and groom, all were soon on their way back to Normanton, including us! Normanton Park Wedding Photographers have a huge array of options for photographs in Normanton’s vast grounds and surroundings. Keeping the gorgeous view in the background, we finished the group shots before an AMAZING magician entertained the guests, even turning a £20 note into a £50! If only he could predict the lottery results too! Even homemade cakes followed served on afternoon tea tiered plates!  A nice change followed in the wedding speeches being held on the patio, rather than inside. With three best men, all of whom were James’ brothers, James was surely in for more of a character assignation, rather than a best man’s speech. After a few risqué words of wisdom from the brothers who closed off the speeches, the bbq was served inside, complete with drinks that continued to flow way into the evening. Unfortunately, the rain came down after dinner, so no time to pop out for photos :-( We had a feeling after checking the weather for the day however, so we made sure we popped out before instead! The evening was soon in full swing though, no time to dwell on a few rain drops! After the first dance, even Mum took to the dance floor… awesome! We are sure a great night followed with a live band, not to mention that ALL evening guests bought cake with them too!

To see some more from us, Normanton Park Wedding Photographers, why not see another of our adventures here?
