Normanton Park for a Summer Wedding

August 10, 2016 |

Charlotte and Jez are the sweetest couple who were extremely excited for their summer wedding this July.

We couldn’t wait to meet them at Normanton Park when their day had finally arrived and we were greeted with a huge smile from the bride, Charlotte.

She had neatly placed her dress, shoes, jewellery and bridesmaid’s dresses in the room ready for us to photograph. After a little time with her and her bridesmaids we left them to it and walked back to the main hotel. They had chosen to hold their wedding ceremony at Normanton Park in the wonderful ceremony room complete with elegant pillars, a red carpet and dressed wedding chairs- it looked amazing! The groom, Jez, had arrived all suited and booted having a swift pint and checking everything was in order with his best men. They all looked great and we photographed them and guests as they arrived in good time for the wedding.

The bride looked beautiful as she smiled her way down the aisle to her groom and the ceremony was wonderful- complete with two TV show themed readings which were ace! Glorious sunshine, group photographs and Pimms is how the happy couple spent the afternoon before heading into the main room and conservatory for their wedding breakfast and speeches.

The rain held off in time for us to pop down to the water for some photographs with just the two of them, the views are beautiful and they (along with Normanton Church) make the perfect backdrop for summer wedding photographs.

The cake cutting, sweetie stall and first dance were in full swing when we left them all to dance the night away- what a super awesome day guys- congratulations you lovely people!
