Naomi and Joe’s Winter Wedding at Normanton

February 22, 2017 |

We were very excited for Naomi and Joe’s wedding today, these guys booked their wedding with us quite a while ago and we couldn’t believe how quickly it had come around!

They had chosen the beautiful Normanton Church for their ceremony followed by a reception at Normanton Park Hotel to make the most of those stunning views!

It was a little chilly today, however, we were all layered up on clothing and ready to go when we met the girls in the morning. The bride was getting ready in the honeymoon suite at Normanton Park and as we arrived she was being pampered by the fabulous make-up artist, Paula Tenant. Her bridesmaids were on hand to help as we took photographs of the beautiful dresses, shoes and jewellery. Naomi had chosen to arrive at Normanton Church early, to hide in the back and walk down the aisle facing the dome. With this in mind, we left the girls to their final preparations and left to head down to the church ready for them to arrive.

Before we did, we couldn’t resist having a sneaky peek look at the reception room as the girls from Lily King were working their magic and making it look even more beautiful!

The bride arrived and popped her dress on inside the church ready to, firstly wow her dad, and then secondly eagerly await friends and family to arrive and take their seats. As she hid, Joe arrived all suited and booted- complete with a bow tie- he looked awesome!

After a fabulous service led by the Rutland Registrars, we all made our way out for some photographs. Everyone braved the cold for these and congratulated the newlyweds before heading back to the hotel for a drink (or two!). We stayed with the bride and groom for some photographs in and around Normanton Church before making our way back too.

Naomi and Joe have a beautiful little dog who they wanted to be a part of such a special day, Willow was ready and waiting to have her photograph taken with Mummy and Daddy… she did so well and didn’t get any dirty paw prints on Naomi’s dress…PHEW!

Dinner and fab speeches followed and then it was soon time for their evening reception to begin. We popped out for a few wintery, dusk photographs before the cake cutting and first dance. We left everyone dancing the night away and eating scrummy cookies from Naomi and Joe’s very own Cookie Bar- how cool- they were very tasty too!:-)

Thank you for a totally awesome day guys and, congratulations!
