It seems like such a long time ago that we first met Mercedes and Gary to talk about their wedding this August. We couldn’t believe that their day had arrived and we were VERY excited!
We met at their house in Melton, bright and early to photograph all of the girls along with their details for the day ahead. After lots of shoes, dresses and jewellery, we left them to it just at the bride was popping her dress on.
We then made our way to the beautiful all saints church in Oakham to wait for the boys to arrive. The groom arrived with his best man and met his usher, who was already at the church nice and early to meet them all.
The bride arrived looking absolutely gorgeous and she smiled her way down the aisle to her groom! The fabulous Steve Bean was there with his wonderful guitar and provided the beautiful background accompaniment to their hymns. After a wonderful service, we made our way out into the glorious sunshine for some group and confetti photographs. Oakham All Saints Church is a magnificent building and just perfect for wedding photographs.
The bride and groom were whisked off to Barnsdale Hall Hotel for their afternoon reception where friends and family were gathered to greet the newlyweds. We used the patio overlooking the amazing view for some group photographs before everyone made their way into the room for dinner. A full 3-course meal was waiting for them (and us……spoilt!) before speeches started.
After dinner, we took a short walk around Barnsdale Hall Hotel with the bride and groom. The main house is beautiful and full of character, we used this and small gardens along with the views for some photographs with them both. They look awesome together and we had a real giggle!
It was soon time for their first dance; completely with an awesome confetti cannon by James and Frasier at JH Roadshow- with this pair, we knew that they were going to have a totally awesome evening.
Congratulations to you both- you lovely people
