What an exciting time of year… Not only was it 6 days until Christmas, but it was also Liz and Nick’s wedding day today Wooooohoooo!
We started our adventure with Liz and her bridesmaids in the beautiful bridal suite at The William Cecil in Stamford. After I (Laura) had stared and drooled at Liz’s Jenny Packham Wedding Dress– we started taking some photographs! Liz’s dress and shoes were beautiful; we knew she was going to look amazing. We left the girls being pampered by the fab Rochelle O’Brien and went to find the boys.
Nick was suited and booted looking very dapper with his groomsmen by his side. They really wanted to use the bridge overlooking Stamford Meadows for some pre-wedding photographs so we made our way for a short walk with the boys.
Stamford was SO busy, however, this added to the atmosphere of their photographs and it worked perfectly. A big red London bus arrived and picked up all of the guests to take them to the ceremony. They had chosen the magnificent Normanton Church for their wedding ceremony and the bus is a perfect way to get your guests from A to B and back again!
After a ride on the bus, it was time for everyone to take their seats and eagerly awaited the bridal party to arrive. Arriving in style and looking gorgeous, Liz was ready to walk down the aisle and wow Nick!
A beautiful ceremony was led by the Rutland Registrars and made, even more, perfect by 3 awesome readings including the 2 little dinosaurs! As husband and wife, they made their way out for lots of congratulations and a few group photographs. As guests boarded the bus, we stayed for some Wedding Photographs at Normanton Church with the bride and groom before making our own way to the reception.
We arrived at the fantabulous William Cecil and the marquee had been dressed with fairy lights, candles and Christmas trees- perfect for their wedding breakfast!
After 3 really cool speeches, it was time for them to head into the main hotel for their evening reception. We had a few chrismassy photographs with the bride and groom before heading in for an awesome evening party. The William Cecil was dressed from head to toe in Christmas decorations, it really did look amazing- oooh we LOVE a good Christmas Wedding in Stamford!
The DJ was set up along with a band and a very special treat….. after the bride and grooms first dance as Mr and Mrs Harding, the band took to the stage with…… THE GROOM! What an awesome end to an awesome day! Congratulations guys and thank you!
