Laura and Matt had planned a fun filled day for their wedding and we were very excited to begin the day!
The house was filled with girls getting ready, make-up artists, hairdressers, giggles and lots of shoes! Laura’s family home was a pleasure to photograph in, full of beautiful oak beams throughout, it made the perfect backdrop when photographing the shoes, dresses and details. We had the pleasure of working with John, a FAB videographer, today and we stayed with him to get some photographs of Laura as she, with a little help from her mum, put the finishing touches to her dress and veil. She looked AMAZING and so smiley!
We left the girls to it and made our way to Normanton Church to capture the bridal party arriving in a very swish car. Driving the car was one of our favourite chauffers, Clive! He has the most beautiful cars and he is amazing to work with. The bride and groom had also arranged for a fantastic red London bus to bring all of their guests to the church- we made it to the car park to watch them all arrive.
Matt, the groom, looked awesome and very excited to see Laura. After a wonderful ceremony, we made the most of the last moments of daylight for some photographs with the bride and groom before heading to the reception.
The Falcon in Uppingham were ready and waiting with drinks as guests arrived on the bus and after a fab confetti shot in the marketplace of Uppingham, they all went inside to warm up! We spent a little time with the bride and groom for some night time photographs with their red London Bus, the lights looked warm and twinkly- perfect winter wedding photographs!
Their reception included group photographs, canapes, sparklers and lots of fizz before a fabulous dinner and speeches.
The band were all set up and ready to rock and roll for Laura and Matts first dance- shortly after we left EVERYONE dancing the night away. We just knew they were going to have an amazing evening.
Congratulations you lovely, lovely couple- what an awesome day!
