Kerry and Wayne had planned a relaxed, informal and gorgeous summer day for their wedding at Greetham Valley…. and it was!
They live in the beautiful village of Whissendine and had chosen the church in the village for their ceremony. This lovely church is set on the main street and has the most stunning gardens, grounds and features.
We started the day with Kerry and her bridesmaids at their home- nervously getting ready for the day ahead. Kerry was quite nervous; however her children and bridesmaids did an amazing job of keeping her calm and taking her mind of the nerves. After some photographs of all the details, we left them to their finishing touches to find the boys who were….. In the pub!
The groom was about as nervous as the bride! We knew as soon as they saw each other they would be fine, Wayne had a drink with the groomsmen, including the dads before taking a short walk to the church. Guests arrived at the church and took their seats and a few moments later the bride arrived- looking amazing!
After a beautiful ceremony- they were husband and wife! We all made our way out into the glorious sunshine for confetti and congratulations for the newlyweds! We used the grounds of the church for some group photographs. As guest made their way, we held back with the bride and groom for some wedding photographs with just the two of them before we too made our way to Greetham Valley Golf Club.
Hannah at Greetham was on hand with a glass of bubbly as the bride and groom arrived at Greetham and after some glasses of pimm’s and sweeties, everyone sat down for dinner. The bride and groom had planned a fun photo-booth and magician to keep the children entertained for the afternoon. This was awesome fun and most of the adults were kept entertained too!
After their fab (and yummy) hog roast, we grab a golf buggy for us and one for the bride and groom for some photographs around Greetham Golf Course. The light in the early evening at this time of year is AMAZING! We explored part of Greetham Golf course that we had never been to before, and it was SO worth it. We captured some stunning wedding photographs at Greetham Valley with the bride and groom.
We made our way back into the Rutland Suite and the fab disco was all set up, complete with light up letters, so after their cake cutting the bride and groom made their way onto the dance floor for the first time as Mr and Mrs Lee. Congratulations guys- you make an awesome couple and we can’t wait to see you soon!
