We first met Tamsin and Joe at our first Oakham photography studio, a year or so ago now. After a relaxed and informal chat about their wedding day, I was over the moon that they wanted to book, as I had never photographed a wedding at Kelmarsh Hall before.
I love exploring new wedding venues that I havent been to before, and I was very excited when I pulled into the drive of Kelmarsh Hall to meet the couple for an afternoon of scouting out some lovely, quirky places for some photos for their wedding day.
The Wedding Day
Time soon flew by, and before we all knew it, It was their wedding day! Kelmarsh Hall was very well recieved by all of the guests who were blown away with the surroundings and views. I met the groom an hour or so before the ceremony and shot some fab photos of him and his ushers, to pass the time.
Tamsin arived in good time for their civil ceremony and headed into the drawing room, where her groom was waiting. After a lovely service, we all headed out into the beautiful gardens of Kelmarsh Hall for some relaxed and informal photographs. After a glass of bubbly, and a game of croquet for the guests, I shot some lovely group shots, using all Kelmarsh has to offer as my backdrop.
Just before the wedding breakfast, I managed to wisk the couple away from their guests for a few minutes to photograph the two of them together. We took a slow walk through the woods at Kelmarsh as I photographed away, capturing some truly stunning photos of the two of them enjoying their wedding day.
After the wedding breakfast, the couple had ordered a Fish and Chip Van for their evening buffet before dancing the night away to a live band.
Since their wedding day, Tamsin and Joe have had their wedding photographs from Kelmarsh Hall turned into a lovely storybook by our in house album designer, Laura.
