This awesome couple live in the lovely little village of Clipsham, and decided that this would be the perfect church for their spring wedding this year!
We arrived in the morning to Iwalda and Bob’s beautiful cottage in Clipsham- quirky little rooms, oak beams, and amazing décor- it was stunning and the girls were enjoying being pampered in the upstairs attic room.
The bride was really nervous- but her bridesmaids were on hand to calm her down and get her ready for, what we knew, was going to be an awesome day!
We left the girls to it and took a short walk down to the church. A long gravel driveway leads you to this lovely little church which the bride and groom had added their personal stamp onto! Cute bunting, chalk board, flowers, and decorations were all around- it looked amazing!
The groom arrived with his groomsmen- all looking great and calm we got some photographs of them all together before people started to arrive.
The bride arrived and she looked stunning as she walked and smiled her way down the aisle to her groom. The ceremony was beautiful and complete with a live band to help with hymns and entertain all. They were fab and everyone was tapping their toes!
Out into the glorious sunshine for confetti and some group photographs before guests made their way to the reception to grab a drink! We made our way too, but not before some wedding photographs with the bride and groom at this lovely village church.
They had chosen The George of Stamford for their wedding reception- and the staff were on hand with beers and punch to greet all! The dining room had been dressed beautifully and guests were definitely wowed when they entered to be seated for dinner.
After a fantastic meal, everyone listened to four great speeches before having a little time to check-in, freshen up and get ready for a fab evening reception!
We snuck off with the bride and groom for a few moments for some photographs with just the two of them at The George of Stamford.
Their evening reception was ready to roll complete with a band and DJ- we knew this was going to be a great evening. It started with a very well-rehearsed and fabulous first dance from the bride and groom and we left them all dancing the night away!
Congratulations guys- thanks for a totally awesome day!
