South farm is a little further than we usually travel, however what a gem of a wedding venue! It was a real privilege to take Lea and Dan’s wedding photography at South Farm.
A really popular venue, South Farm hosted its first wedding in 2005 with its busiest year to date last year. Distinctly different is their promise and WOW did they deliver! The grounds are full of surprises including 3 ponds, multiple water features, a cute little bridge, farmyard animals and 4 upcycled Romany caravans!
Arriving super early and super excited, our first treat of the day was to meet Lea and her bridesmaid in the twin floored bridal suite. While Lea put the finishing touches to her make up, we went upstairs only to be greeted by a fabulous dress and shoes!
Shots of the boys by the vintage steam engine followed, before the registrars and guests arrived. All headed into the drawing room in anticipation for the wedding ceremony at South Farm.
After tears by all (literally!) South Farm played the perfect host for their fun filled photographs. We dodged in and out of the showers to make the most of the afternoon, leaving lots of time for guests to enjoy a drink throughout the reception.
A real whistle stop tour followed as we took advantage of everything that South farm has to offer… We even saw the sun
We left our favourite part until last – the four Romany caravans. As the sun shone and the light rain continued, we finished our brief wedding photography session as it was time for the wedding breakfast.
After yet more tears (mostly from us!) throughout the speeches – we were out for a few more wedding photographs as now it was dark. South farms is just as stunning in the dark as it is drapped in twinkly lights making for perfect wedding photography opportunities. We have even included a few here to show you!
A fab wedding day finished with the main barn looking stunning as Lea and Dan headed to the dance floor for the first time as Mr and Mrs!
We hope you enjoy this sneaky peak Lea and Dan! We cant wait to see you both soon and go out for that famous duck and hoisin sauce pizza at the Lord Nelson :). You guys are Awesome!
