Oooh such an exciting day… new venues and awesome couple!
Manthorpe Church and Kelham House is where Hannah and Tom had picked for their wedding. We met them a couple of months ago to have an exciting look around … oooh we could see why they had fallen in love with the places! If we haven’t been to a venue before we ALWAYS go and have a look around before your day- leaving nothing as a surprise! Hannah’s grandparents were married in the very same church many years ago which is why it is such a special place for them all.
The bride was getting ready and her parents’ house in Great Gonerby on the morning of their wedding. She was very excited along with her bridesmaid and bridesman! Joe her brother had taken on the task of being a Brides-man and he did such a good job! Never have we seen a guy work so hard all day on straightening the dress! Laura was almost made redundant!
After capturing the excitement and details of the morning, not to mention the look on Hannah’s dad’s face when he saw her for the first time in her dress……. It was time to leave and meet the boys.
Tom looked awesome- suited and booted and very calm greeting guests as they arrived at the church. Despite the hit and miss rain, we waited along for Hannah to arrive in style…. And she did- she looked stunning!
A beautiful ceremony in the church followed by songs from the lovely choir and it was out for a confetti photograph in the sun! Yes, the sun came out with perfect timing!
Guests then made their way to Kelham whilst we took some relaxed wedding photographs with the bride and groom. We couldn’t resist capturing a photograph of Hannah, Tom and Hannah’s grandparents in the archway, as this church was so special to them all.
Kelham House was ready and waiting for them with garden games and drinks for all. After a few group photographs in the gardens, it was time for afternoon tea; complete with their fab wedding cake with very life-like cake toppers! We bet you can’t guess what Tom does for a living from the photograph…
The speeches were in full swing, and with Tom’s dad being the best man he sure had some stories!
Whilst the brilliant staff at Kelham prepared the room for the evening reception we snuck out with the bride and groom to explore the grounds of Kelham, the wild meadow/woodland, water fountains and blossom trees- we could have kept going all day! We had a lovely time with the bride and groom capturing some beautiful wedding photographs at Kelham House.
Evening guests arrived and the DJ was ready to go which left one thing… dancing! Hannah and Tom took to the dance floor and were shortly followed by Hannah’s brother, the bridesman who cut some absolutely awesome shapes!
Wow- what a day. Rain, sunshine, laughter and great people- perfection! Congratulations guys- we can’t wait to see you soon!
