Driving over to Manthorpe church to meet Hannah and Tom we were talking about when we first met them nearly a year ago! They had told us then so much about their church and venue and it is crazy that the time has flown by so quickly!
We hadn’t been to Manthorpe church before, so we had arranged with Hannah and Tom that we would meet them there first to have a look around. They arrived and were just as lovely as we remembered! They were bubbly, smiley and full of conversation about the plans for their day and how it was all coming together nicely.
Hannah told us how her Grand-parents had been married in this church many years ago which is why they had picked it for their wedding in May. The church was beautiful and with an unusual spire in the middle of the church it really had the wow factor!
We had a short drive to Belton Woods for their engagement photographs and before we knew it nearly an hour had past! Engagement shoots are a great way of shaking off your nerves ready for the big day and Hannah and Tom were great- they have nothing to worry about! Their dog, Amber, even made a guest appearance in some of the photographs too!
We were spoilt rotten today- Hannah’s mum had prepared a pit stop lunch at their home in Great Gonerby… Home-made Leek and Potato Soup and Bread…Yummmmy! Just as we thought things couldn’t get any better, Hannah had baked some delicious chocolate brownies; we told you we were spoilt!
Next on our adventure was a trip to their reception venue, Kelham House. Wow- it was beautiful.
