Emily and Dave’s Gorgeous Wedding

August 17, 2016 |

Having known Emily and Dave for a few years now, we were over the moon when they asked us to photograph their wedding this August. They are the cutest couple and full of smiles- we couldn’t wait!

It was Sunday and their day had arrived- glorious sunshine and blue sky provided the most beautiful backdrop all day long!

We start our day with Emily, the bride, at her home in Stamford. When we arrived, the girls were being pampered by the wonderful ladies from Hannah Coxhead Hair Studio. We photographed the details including cards and presents from her groom-to-be before leaving the girls to their final preparations.

They had planned their ceremony at Normanton Church and guests arrived as we did, nice and early, and VERY excited! The groom looked very smart as he arrived with his groomsmen armed with flowers and orders of service. They did their jobs and made it out in time for some photographs for the bridal party arrived.

Emily looked absolutely stunning as she followed her bridesmaids down the aisle at Normanton Church. A beautiful ceremony, complete with readings were followed with lots of congratulation in the sunshine outside. It was a little breezy at the church so guests made their way to the reception venue whilst we spent a little time taking some photographs of the two of them at Normanton Church.

We all arrived at Halstead House and used the huge lawn and woodlands as a backdrop for their group photographs. Guests had grabbed picnic blankets and all enjoyed the sun and some drinks on the lawn. Afternoon Tea, prosecco and speeches soon arrived and it was soon time to sneak off with the bride and groom to explore the grounds at Halstead house for some photographs.

These guys looked awesome together and after taking to the dancefloor as Mr and Mrs Platt, we left them to enjoy the rest of their super evening!

Congratulations guys and thank you for letting us be a part of your special day!
