It was a sunny day and we were very excited to get started for Danielle and James’ wedding today…
We started our adventure in Whittlesey, where the bride was getting ready at her mums home. The hair and make-up ladies were on hand to pamper the girls and there was lots of excitement throughout the house!
This lovely couple had chosen Normanton Church for their ceremony and Normanton Park Hotel for their wedding reception. We left the girls to their final preparations and made our way to Normanton Park to meet the boys. James was a little nervous, but he didn’t show it and he looked awesome all suited and booted with the boys.
If you have never been to Normanton Church……… You MUST! It is a beautiful, historic church set on the edge of Rutland Water- to our delight, they opened this museum as a wedding ceremony venue a number of years ago and we can see why it is picked by so many!
Guests arrived- completely wowed by this venue- and took their seats inside. The bride and her brother arrived in a fab open top classic car- talk about arriving in style!
Danielle looked stunning as she walked down the aisle and their ceremony was beautifully led by the Rutland Registrars. The newlyweds received lots of congratulations from guests before a few photographs and they soon made their way to Normanton Park.
It was a day filled with sunshine and this was perfect for guests to enjoy a drink on the lawn and made the most of the amazing views at Normanton Park Hotel.
After a few group photographs, it was time for their wedding breakfast and FAB speeches!
Not only is Normanton Park beautiful, but when the sun sets on a clear evening you have a bird’s eye view! Today was one of those great days where the sun shone right over the water… it was beautiful! We captured some awesome photographs with the bride and groom before their evening reception began.
The bride and groom then had another surprise up their sleeve….. They wowed us all with a very well-rehearsed and spectacular first dance- they looked amazing on the dancefloor!
We left them all dancing the night away- Congratulations guys!
