Danielle and Dan booked their wedding photography with us quite a time ago now and we couldn’t believe that it was here already!
They are the cutest couple, we always have such a giggle with them and this was no different when we met with the bride at Greetham Valley on Saturday.
She was being pampered with the hair and make-up ladies, along with her mum. The room was full of giggles, smilse and excitement as the time flew away! We left the girls to their final preparations and went to have a sneaky peek look at the room. These guys had added all the personal touches to the wedding reception room at Greetham Valley, with photographs, candles, flowers, sweetie bags and much more- it looked ace!
We hopped into the van and made our way to Normanton Church to capture the girls arriving. The bride and her dad arrived in a beautiful classic wedding car and Danielle looked gorgeous! It was perfectly timed, as the bride made her way in the church, Dan- her groom- was walking down the track. Phew- that was close!
Dan looked very smart (but felt a little hungover) however, you could not tell! He was ready to go and couldn’t wait for their ceremony!
EVERYONE couldn’t help but cry when the bride walked down the aisle- especially the groom; he was blown away by how lovely she looked! Their ceremony was awesome, after two lovely heartfelt readings by close family members, they made their way outside as Mr and Mrs Sargent!
The brides veil caught in the blustery wind at Normanton Church- but a good catch by a guest saved the day. However not so much for Mum’s hat! Her partner found himself daring the steep rocks donned with a twig to rescue mum’s hat! Well done- good work everyone.
The wonderful staff at Greetham Valley were on hand with bubbly for the newly-weds and we continued with some photographs inside as the rain had decided to make an appearance.
Speeches followed along with lots of evening guests and a fab hog roast!
We finished this fabulous day with sparklers and an awesome 1st dance, hosted by JH Roadshow complete with a confetti cannon.
What a totally awesome day- congratulations you lovely, lovely people!
