Beth and Mikes Wedding in Uppingham

October 05, 2016 |

We started our wonderful day with Beth and Mike at The Falcon in Uppingham, where the bride was busily getting ready with her mum and bridesmaids.

The Falcon has recently had an extension added to their hotel which they dedicate to wedding and conferences. The orangery style building looks stunning, complete with a wooden floor throughout, chandeliers and views of the sweet garden.

After spending a little time with the bride, we made our way to the lovely little village of Tugby, where they had chosen the church for their wedding ceremony. The boys were there trying to attach bunting to the walkway of the church, they managed it- but it was quite entertaining to watch!

A quick pint (for the boys) followed before they started to greet all of their guests into the church. The bridal party arrived and…..Wow- the bride looked amazing as she walked down the aisle.

After a wonderful service, the bells were chiming and guest congratulated the happy couple with hand fulls of confetti! Whilst guest made their way back to The Falcon for drinks, we stayed at the church with the bride and groom for some family photographs and photographs of the two of them.

Drinks and canapes were flowing when we arrived back, the sweet little garden was filled with guests chatting amongst the gorgeous flowered gardens and waterfall.

After a few more photographs, everyone made their way inside for dinner and speeches. Speeches were between courses which kept everyone entrained throughout. The bride’s dad told some funny stories, the groom made everyone cry with his awesome speech and the best men made the groom cringe with embarrassment- they were ace!

The fabulous hound dogs were all set up and ready to entertain all for their evening reception. After a fab first dance- they entertained all with their music and tricks- including setting fire to the symbols!

Congratulations guys and thank you for asking us to be a part of your totally awesome day!
