We started our day at Becky’s parents’ house in Melton; we left the studio with no coat, jumpers, scarfs or gloves…… Spring was here!
The weather was beautiful…blue skies and gleaming sunshine- we couldn’t wait for, what we knew would be, a FAB day!
The bride, Becky, was being pampered having her hair and make-up sorted and her bridesmaids, mum, dad, and brothers were on hand to help with…..Well, anything really. They were great!
After spending some time with the girls, we made our way to Exton Church where we met the guests as they arrived- even before the groom! Dave, the groom arrived with his best man and a big smile on his face! It was soon time for friends and family to grab their seats as the bridal party were arriving.
The bride looked amazing and she walked down the aisle, with her VERY proud dad and the service was beautiful- complete with a fantastic church choir.
The newlyweds were greeted with LOTS of confetti as they made their way out of the church- the sunshine was warm and guest enjoyed watching the bride and groom have their first photographs and husband and wife.
They had chosen Halstead House for their wedding reception and the staff were on hand with drinks as everyone arrived and mingled on the lawn. We went into the barn to photograph their reception room and WOW, it looked amazing. Lanterns hung from the beams with bunting and the light up letters filled the dancefloor- they really had added lots of personal touches to make the room look even lovelier!
Speeches followed and they were all ace- shortly after it was dinner time…Yum!
We popped out with this lovely couple for some photographs exploring the grounds, gardens and views at Halstead House- there are so many spots to choose from!
Their evening reception began with their first dance- and the AWESOME band was in full swing to ensure that EVERYONE danced the night away!
What an ace day- congratulations guys!
