Our day today started at Lyndsey’s family home in Stamford- Lyndsey had grown up here and it was lovely to see all of the family photographs around the house. Including a wedding wall of fame…with one space free… we wonder who could be filling this!
Lyndsey arrived back very excited with her bridesmaids and complete with a Mrs W jumper (ready for when she becomes Mrs Wainhouse)…Awesome!
After leaving the girls we met the boys at The Crown and took a gentle walk up to Barn Hill Methodist Church with, of course, a few relaxed photographs with the boys on the way! Chris was really calm and really excited to see Lyndsey.
The bridal party arrived and one of Lyndsey’s flower girls had a lovely personalised sign to hold whilst walking down the aisle, it read: “Uncle Chris… Here comes your bride” Very Cute!
After a fab ceremony, we took some fun group photographs outside the church in Stamford whilst friends and family watch and joined in! Guests made their way to the reception and we stayed for some photographs of just the two of them at Stamford Church. We even managed a quick stop off at The Burghley House Bottle Lodges… Iddy from Jones cars added a beautiful backdrop with one of their cars which made the perfect Stamford wedding photograph!
We arrived at The William Cecil with HUGE smiles from the staff as always! After photographing their autumn themed room -complete with a leaf wish tree, we finished off the group photographs on their list and it was time for the wedding breakfast!
Lyndsey and Chris had a slight pumpkin theme including the cake; not because it was Halloween, but because Chris carved ‘will you marry me’ out of pumpkins for his proposal to Lyndsey! What a cute idea! Well if Lyndsey hadn’t arrived home early from work as Chris had only managed Marry Me! Bless him!
Wow a super day it was and we finished this off with some romantic photographs just as the sun had gone down- using the lights of The William Cecil and the fire pits on the patio- a perfect end to a perfect day!
