Aimie and Stewart’s Wedding at Barnsdale Lodge

April 20, 2017 |

WOW- what a day! The weather was absolutely glorious…. The hottest day of the year so far!

We were so pleased that the sun was shining for Aimie and Stewart’s wedding and we started our adventure in Uppingham.

The bride was getting ready at her parent’s house with her bridesmaids. Whilst they were busy being pampered, we photographed the dresses, shoes and other details in this beautiful house. After a few piccy’s of the girls together we left them to their final preparations and went on to the church.

This lovely couple had chosen the quaint little church in the centre of Wing village. The church is set on a hill in the middle of the village and the features and character of this church made for the most beautiful photographs. We met the boys here and then followed them to The Kings Arms in the village for them to have a quick pint (just one!) and a few photographs.

Guests started to arrive and before too long so did the bridesmaids, who looked amazing along with the Bride who outshone everyone and looked gorgeous! After a few tears, they all made their way in and the bride wowed her guests and her groom.

After their service, guests congratulated the happy couple on this beautiful spring day followed by showering them with confetti- we’ve never seen so much confetti!

As friends and family made their way to Barnsdale to grab a drink, we spent a little time with the bride and groom taking some wedding photographs at the church, they looked awesome together!

Barnsdale Lodge has a fantastic lawn with countryside views which we made full use of for their group photographs before everyone made their way into the barn for a roast dinner and fab speeches!

After a few dusk photographs with the bride and groom, it was time for them to dance the night away for their evening reception.

Congratulations guys, you are awesome and we had a wonderful day with you all!
