This blog post is a little different from most, our lovely couple have requested that all of the photographs we show include none of their guests, so we apologise if the photographs feel a little disjointed. However, we hope that by looking through these photographs you still get a feel for how wonderful their wedding day was.
Cat was excitingly getting ready at her parents’ house before the wedding with her parents and bridesmaids all giving her a helping hand. They were all happy and giggly and couldn’t wait for the day ahead. They had arranged for their beautiful wedding ceremony to be held at Normanton Church on the edge of Rutland Water. Guest arrived along with the groom, who looked very cool and calm. After some photographs with his groomsmen, we all waited in anticipation for the bride to arrive. And she did, in a wonderful campervan and she looked amazing!
After a wonderful ceremony led by the Rutland Registrars, we all made out way outside into the most incredible sunshine. It was like a summer day…. perfect for September wedding photography at Rutland Water. We couldn’t believe how nice it was!
After friends and family congratulated the bride and groom we took a few group photographs and then finished off with some wedding photographs around Normanton Church with the bride and groom.
Now off to The William Cecil we went, just a short drive up the road to the beautiful Georgian town of Stamford. WE LOVE weddings at the William Cecil, the place, food, staff and gardens are all amazing!
The marquee at The William Cecil had been dressed beautifully, and after a few relaxed photographs in the gardens it was time for guests to go and enjoy it!
During their meal, we had fab speeches, a raffle and even some saucepan action…. Ha ha! It was awesome fun!
Before they made their way to the Burghley room for their evening reception, we had time to pop out for some fabulous bridal photography and some beautiful shots of the bride and groom. Wedding photographs at The William Cecil are always a treat and we even managed to sneak up to the Bottle Lodges at Burghley house which is just around the corner. It was pitch black but totally cool!
A fab day finished with a fab first dance and disco… Congratulations guys- We hope you had an awesome day!
