A Summer Wedding at Greetham Valley

July 05, 2016 |

Rachel and Seb’s wedding day had arrived, the sun was shining and we were up bright and early very excited for the day ahead.

We met the bride at the gorgeous Greetham Valley where she was excitingly getting ready for the day ahead. With her bridesmaids, mum, make-up artist and hairdresser on hand- she was being pampered and spoilt! After a little time with the girls, we made our way to meet the boys at Normanton Church.

The water was still and we had blue sky- what a perfect day for a wedding! Friends and family arrived, shortly followed by the groomsmen! They had a relaxed look without jackets, the boys looked super cool and all had their jobs to do before the bride arrived!

The bride and her bridesmaids arrived and they all looked stunning as they walked down the aisle for the wedding ceremony. Rutland Registrars gave a fab introduction about this amazing church and it’s history before leading the ceremony and before we knew it… They were husband and wife! We made the most of the beautiful backdrop for some group photographs and wedding photographs before making our way back to Greetham.

Before arriving at Greetham Valley, we stopped off on the driveway with the bride, groom and their beautiful vintage car for a few photographs. Shortly after we arrived it was time for their wedding breakfast and some fantastic speeches- well done all you did a great job!

A little gap in the afternoon meant that guests had an hour or so to check in, freshen up and chill out. We dodged the random rain showers to go out on the golf buggy with the bride and groom. Their Chauffeur, Aaron, was ready to roll and we explored lots of the golf course for some stunning wedding photographs. These guys looked awesome together and we could have continued for hours… however, we couldn’t as the groom had planned a special surprise for his new wife. A fantastic Magician arrived to wow his bride and all of the guests and he did just that! He was brilliant and entertained everyone in the room with his amazing tricks!

Meanwhile, the band had set up and the bride and groom took to the dancefloor for their first dance- shortly followed by all of their guests!

Wow- what a beautiful day- congratulations guys!
