Lucy and John’s day had arrived- they have been planning it for such a long time, and we were very excited to start their day.
We began by meeting the bride at her parents home in Exton. The girls were all in various rooms getting ready, while Lucy was have her made up applied by the fabulous Paul Tenant! We spend some time with them taking some photographs before leaving them to their final preparations.
The boys were having a swift pint at The Fox and Hounds in Exton, so we joined them… to take photographs- not for a beer! John, the groom, looked fab dressed in his Military uniform with his ushers by his side. Lucy and John had chosen Exton Church for their wedding ceremony; a beautiful church set on the ground of Exton estate, this church also hosted Lucy’s brother’s wedding 2 years ago and her parents wedding 34 years ago!
We made our way to the church as guests started to arrive and take their seats, along with Dot, the family dog! The bride was here, and she looked amazing as she smiled her way down the aisle! The bride’s dad had planned a surprise for his wife: to renew their vows in front of friends and family at the end of the service. Lucy’s mum has no idea, and she was blown away. It was such a lovely idea- brownie points to Lucy’s dad!
The sun was shining, and we took some group photographs and photos of the two of them together while guest made their way to Barnsdale Lodge for drinks. The father of the bride had arranged that Lucy and John could use the beautiful lake on the grounds for some wedding photographs- it’s not what you know, it who you know- It made a perfect backdrop for their wedding photos!
Back at Barnsdale, it was time for a few group photographs with the bridal party on the lawn before a fab dinner and 3 impressive speeches!
We popped out in the evening into the wild meadows at the back of Barnsdale Lodge for some wedding photographs with the bride and groom before their evening guests arrived.
A fab DJ and band entertained the guests, and we were sure that they would all be dancing the night away!
Thank you for a fab day guys and CONGRATULATIONS!
