Not only did we have two amazing venues and an awesome couple, but it was New Year’s Eve- what a special day to choose for your wedding!
Ruth and Ian had picked Normanton Church for their intimate ceremony along with The William Cecil in Stamford for a fab party reception!
It was the morning and the bride, Ruth, was getting ready in the bridal suite at The William Cecil along with her bridesmaid. She was excited and almost ready to leave for the church.
In the meantime, a coach had arrived to collect all of the guests and take them to Normanton Church. Ian was a little nervous, but he looked so smart and was very excited to see Ruth!
Before we made our way to Normanton Church, we took a peek at The Burghley room to see that the girls from Lily King had worked their magic and dressed the room with chair covers, flowers, table decorations and a backdrop- it looked fab!
Guests arrived at Normanton church and eagerly took their seats. The bride walked down the aisle with her, very proud, dad and looked gorgeous! After their ceremony, guests greeted them with bubbles and congratulations before heading back to The William Cecil.
It was incredibly windy at Normanton Church today, so guests made their way back and we spent a short time with the newlyweds capturing some stunning wedding photographs at Normanton Church on this New Year’s Eve wedding day.
Back at The William Cecil, we used some outdoor and indoor spaces to capture their group photographs before it was time for fab speeches and a scrumptious dinner.
Before their evening party was in full swing, we explored the hotel to capture some wedding photographs at The William Cecil with the bride and groom. We had such giggle with this couple- they were great fun!
After their first dance and lots of dancing, it was time for us to leave them to dance the night away until 2016!
