A Beautiful Winter Wedding Day

December 28, 2016 |

Jen and Jack had planned for a romantic Christmassy wedding this December… and that’s exactly what they had!

We met the bride in the bridal suite at The William Cecil where she was getting ready with her two sisters. The room was filled with giggles and fun whilst they were all pampered! After photographs of their details for the day we heard all about the bride (who is a massive Harry Potter fan…YAY) being dressed up as Hagrid for her hen do- we thought this was amazing and can’t wait to see photos! We left the girls to it and made our way to Normanton Church to meet the boys… not before having a peek into the marquee.

The décor looked amazing…. Harry Potter themed table names and personalised coke bottles as place names they had done such a great job!

Normanton Church looked gorgeous (as it always does) however today the sky was bright blue, the water looked like glass and the low sunlight gave the church that beautiful glow.

The groom was there nice and early ready to greet his guests, after a few photographs we left them to wait nervously! The bride and groom had arranged a red Route Master London Bus to collect guests from The Cecil and bring them to the church- such a fab idea.

Guests arrived, were wowed by the views and then took their seats in the church to wait for the bride to arrive. She arrived in a campervan with her dad and bridesmaids and she looked gorgeous!

After a fab service, it was out into the (cold) but glorious sunshine for friends and family to greet and congratulate the new Mr and Mrs Foley!

As we arrived at The William Cecil, guests had been dropped off by the bus and were enjoying drinks whilst Rob was on hand with 2 glasses of Mulled Wine for the happy couple….Yum! We used the bus and campervan for a few photographs before they made their way back.

The marquee hosted their amazing wedding breakfast and speeches before everyone made their way to the hotel for the evening reception. After a few photographs in and around the William Cecil (with the FAB Christmas decorations) we made our way inside to see an awesome caricaturist and Casino Table set up and ready to entertain. With these and the band we knew that they would all have a great evening!

Congratulations guys- we had a wonderful day and thank you for our very own Caricature- it will be framed!
